Key Components

▶ Top Hook — connects to anchor point/shackle
▶ Body/Housing — contains gears & brake
▶ Hand Chain Loop — endless chain to operate
▶ Load Chain — lifts/lowers the load
▶ Bottom Hook — attaches to load via sling/shackle
▶ Safety Latches — on both hooks

Pre-Use Checks

⚠ Before Every Lift

• Check WLL rating matches load weight
• Inspect hooks for cracks, deformation, latch function
• Check chain for wear, kinks, corrosion, stretch
• Verify anchor point rated for load
• Test brake — lift small height, check load holds
• Check chain runs freely through body
• Ensure current inspection tag attached

Operation Rules

Critical Safety

• Never exceed rated WLL capacity
• Never side-load a chain block
• Load must be directly below hoist point
• Keep hands clear of chain and pinch points
• Do not leave load suspended unattended
• Use tag lines for load control
• Never use chain block for dragging loads
