Phase 0 — Rope Grab Device
Rope grab fall arrest device animation

This is the rope grab — the fall arrest device used during the ladder climb. It attaches to the vertical wire rope lifeline and slides freely upward as you climb. If you fall, the internal cam locks instantly, arresting the fall within centimetres.

Anchor → Wire Rope Lifeline → Rope Grab → Energy Absorber → Harness
⚠ Always install with the directional arrow pointing UP. Inspect cam, housing, and rope channel before every use.
